My Grand daughter is a Mess

My grand daughter number 1 is a mess!  Natalie and I have our challanges with our relationship, she wants me when she wants me and when I am giving my attention to the baby.  So we bought her a hat like GG and she had it on and I wanted to take a picture of her in her hat, at first she was ok she was cheesing for me and then when I wanted to get her by herself she wanted to act a plum fool running and hiding from me.  Cra Cra Grand Ba Natalie.

Hand Foot Mouth

Hand Foot Mouth!  Have you ever heard of such a thing?  Well yesterday evening I met the grand kids at the doctors office after work, waited and waited mind you because the doctor was running behind and I was late because of traffic.  I didn't leave the doctors office until after 6pm for a 4 o'clock appointment but any way.  After checking the grand baby out the doctor said she has Hand Foot Mouth virus, it's a virus and it just has to run its course, she has ulcers in the back of her throat do you want to see them she ask me, uh no I don't I told her, but she says you have to look at her feet and her hand's and her mouth will have little bumps and she may run a fever.  She has been really crouch and slobbing because of the ulcers and she doesn't want to swallow.  My daughter said she got it from one of the twins because now that she knows he had the same thing and only wanted to eat stuff that was soft for the past 2 weeks and he had little bumps on his fingers but she didn't know what they were.  Now we know the culprit. So if you haven't heard of it now you know.  

Mya Turns 8 years old

Happy Birthday to my Niece Mya!  Mya's birthday was October 4 and she told my mom her (Nan Na) that her mother didn't do anything for her birthday except take her shopping, Mya turned 8 years old this year.  So my mom her (Nan Na) went shopping and bought her a cake, balloons and party favors to have a sleep over with 2 of her younger cousins only Kennedy got a chance to come but they had a ball and my mom called me over to take pictures of her decorations and the kids playing. When I walked in my niece Mya said to me hey Auntie Steph what did you bring me! I said I brought me and my camera over for you.  Of course on Sunday morning they called me and  wanted to see the pictures of themselves being silly. Kids they just want to have fun, my mom said all they wanted to do was play with the balloons and tattoos.  Happy Belated Birthday Mya Auntie Loves You....

All 4 Children are Sick!

Hello I know I haven't been on in a while but all the children have been sick.  What do you do 4 at one time that's a lot of doctor calling or just being pulled in all different directions because everyone wants your attention and affection.  The twins have been in pre-k so they are bringing all the germs home to the other 2 who are not in school and making them sick.  This has been going on for a solid month now and I am so tired of it I wake up with a stuffy nose and coughing also.  My daughter took the baby to the doctor on Sunday after I have been telling her since Friday to take her she tells me her card is there you can take her, and I said no mam I a not the mother so you take her, so from Friday to Sunday she finally took her and they did a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia and started treating her for Asthma but I don't think that's whats wrong with her but needless to say I don't have MD behind my name right?  So here we are on Tuesday and they are all still sick and the 2 year old passes out and has a seizure so I said take them all to Hugh Spaulding and let them check them there, they were there all day and all evening and the 2 year old had a seizure at the clinic, they said it came from her temperature spiking, but keep and eye on her they cleaned her ears out and  some other things my daughter didn't tell me everything.  But this is the ongoing of me being a grand mother of 4 called GG, that's me.

Bad Kids What Do You Do

What do you do with bad kids that act out when they are sleepy?  I tried to make them stay up to at least 7:00 pm before I gave them a bath, we went outside to the mail box ran around the yard and then went back inside.  They boys were acting up all day they didn't go to school so no naps at all.  I gave them a bath and tried to put them to bed but to no demise they were very hard headed and a spanking didn't do, they both like to get spankings I think because when I say or give one of them a spanking then the other one does the same exact thing so you have to spank that one also, so I assume they like spankings.  I tried the time out also it works for a while but they were really trying my patience on yesterday, I don't like to get frustrated with them so I walk away and let them have it for a while then I come back and try it again but last night was really trying on my patience.  What do you do?  How do you handle this situation?

Help please I need help!

Toddlers and Panties

Do you all have any 2 year old toddlers? 

 I have one name Natalie and she likes to walk around without her panties, tonight I gave her and her brothers a bath put on her panties and a t-shirt, dressed the boys and when her mom came home from work I go upstairs and find her with out her panties on.  I put panties back on with a fight go down stairs and come back she is upstairs and the panties are sitting on the top step of  the stairs, I go up find her and try to put the panties back on and she tries to get away from me I had to hold her down to put them back on.  Am I the only one dealing with this issue.  2 years old and don't want to wear your panties.

Kids Acting Out in Public

When you take to twin boys to the post office and one starts going up under the tables and the other one wants to touch everything and then start hitting the other one what do you do?  That was my dilemma to with Nick & Nate, Nick wanted to get under the table and Nate wanted to touch everything, so I picked Nick up and held him because he is the smallest and he asked and then Nate wanted to be held and sit up on the counter when I told him he couldn't he got worse.  I had to put both of them down and pay for my money order and that's when Nick started passing licks and I told him to stop and he keeps on of course the postal worked started talking to him she says some times you have to distract them, on the way out Nate wanted some candy I had bought them Chick-fil-A ice cream before we got there so they had ice cream in the car, that what I told him why he started dropping to the ground screaming like I had killed him so I told Nick to get down and I picked up Nate and told Nick to come on then he wanted to stay on the ground I had to pick both of them up and carry them to the car while people were looking at me while they were screaming like I had done something.  I don't like being embarrassed by kids, I couldn't beat their butts like I really wanted too.  So what do you do, how do you deal with the foolishness?
